Dean Siahaan
During my studies in Interior & Exhibition Design, I have explored a wide range of design approaches through projects that blend creativity, functionality, and storytelling. From reimagining hospital waiting areas inspired by natural elements, to crafting immersive exhibition experiences and concept cafés, my work demonstrates a strong focus on human-centered design and spatial narratives.

ABOUT
Each project challenged me to experiment with materiality, lighting, and atmosphere while maintaining attention to detail and practicality. These school projects not only honed my technical skills in design software and visualization, but also shaped my ability to translate abstract ideas into meaningful spaces that connect with people emotionally and experientially.

Covara.
A Co-Working Space.
Inspired by the historical significance of the site, Tanjong Katong, which translates to "turtle point," the design reflects the graceful rhythm of a turtle’s movement through sand and water. This concept embodies a balance between the fast-paced demands of interior design work and moments of tranquility. The furniture design revolves around the idea of being sheltered like a baby turtle in its nest beneath the warm sand.
